What HomePilot is

HomePilot is a household administration tool that helps you track staff salaries, advances, loans, and vendor project payments. HomePilot calculates amounts and keeps records; it does not transmit, process, or execute any payment. When it's time to pay, HomePilot hands off to your own UPI app, you complete every payment yourself, outside of HomePilot.

Your responsibility

You're responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter into HomePilot, staff details, payment amounts, vendor quotes, and everything else. Before paying anyone, always verify the amount and recipient details yourself; HomePilot is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for your own judgment. You're also responsible for how you handle any data you enter about other people (your staff and vendors), including meeting any obligations you may have toward them regarding their own information.

No professional advice

HomePilot doesn't provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Nothing in the app should be treated as a recommendation, and you should consult a qualified professional for anything beyond simple record-keeping.

"As is," no warranty

HomePilot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee HomePilot will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation will always be accurate; you should independently verify anything important before acting on it, especially before making a payment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PoloPilot and its developer won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, loss of money, or dispute with a third party (including your staff or vendors) arising from your use of HomePilot. Our total liability for any claim relating to HomePilot won't exceed the amount you paid to use it (which, if HomePilot is free or you haven't paid anything, is zero).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PoloPilot and its developer from any claim, loss, or dispute, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of HomePilot, your data entry, your payments, or any dispute between you and a third party (including staff or vendors) whose information you stored in the app.

Data and privacy

How HomePilot handles data is covered in the HomePilot Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Third-party services

HomePilot uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit to sync your data, and hands off to whichever UPI app you have installed to complete payments. Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for how they operate.

Changes

We may update these terms as HomePilot changes. If we do, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use HomePilot after a change means you accept the new terms.

Termination

You can stop using HomePilot at any time by deleting the app. We may also stop providing or supporting HomePilot at any time, since there's no ongoing subscription or account to maintain.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Apple-specific terms

This agreement is between you and PoloPilot, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for HomePilot, and Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to HomePilot, including product liability claims, claims that HomePilot fails to meet applicable legal requirements, and claims related to consumer protection. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
